Welcome Mamas! We're so happy you're here.
As a working mother myself, I am thrilled to sponsor this event, and to support your journey towards wellness, empowerment, and success. These days it's harder than ever for moms to replenish our energies, nourish our souls, and maintain our physical and mental health. But it must be done. Mothers are the Essential Workers of our families. Without us, things fall apart.
Camp Cosmo is here to help you carve out some space and time for yourself while at SLAM, by providing a welcoming and inclusive space for all children. At Camp Cosmo, they'll find engagement, entertainment and connection. We can't wait for them to join us!
Some of our classes may sound kind of odd at first glance. What's Smashterpiece? Tape Creations??? How is Math Club considered fun? You might be asking, "Will my kids like that?" Our curriculum is curated to reflect the actual interests of the kids we work with. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education, we believe that children learn through play, and can be active collaborators with their educators. Our job is to support and scaffold their natural curiosity. Please encourage your children to try something new, and to share their interests with us - we are always happy to see where their imagination takes us.
HOW TO REGISTER
Grab the coupon code provided with your SLAM ticket, and REGISTER NOW. We recommend booking early, as classes can fill up. And don't wait for August 5th - you're welcome to use your coupon ALL WEEK LONG. Here's how:
1. Register for as many classes as you like
2. Enter your coupon code at checkout
3. Check your email for the link to our Zoom Channel & ENJOY!*
*A couple of helpful hints:
classes are in Pacific Time
headphones or earbuds will enhance your child's experience (and make it quieter for you!)
please check class descriptions ahead of time to see if materials are needed.
Finally, mark your calendars for our Kids' Performance at 1pm (PT) on Friday, during one of the SLAM breaks.
Please join us, watch some of your kids in action, and see what we've been up to at Camp Cosmo!
Wishing you all a fantastic week at SLAM, and I hope to meet you, and your kids, very soon!
