Rachel Witenstein - Founder/CEO
In the summer of 2013, Rachel and her sons started Camp Cosmo in their backyard as an experiment - where the kids decide what they do. Each day started with a morning meeting, where we pitched our ideas and made our plans. It was so much fun, we never stopped. By listening to and honoring children's natural instincts for creative play, Camp Cosmo quickly became a local favorite, beloved by parents and kids alike, who dubbed it the "Best.Camp.Ever!"
In March 2020, Rachel launched CampCosmo.com in response to the global pandemic, to give kids at home a new way to create, learn and connect through play. Now Camp Cosmo has grown to include kids all over the world! Our goal is to integrate online camp and live camp, so kids across the world can find connection and creativity for years to come.
