The goal of this workshop is to help high school Juniors develop their personal essays through research, practice and workshopping.
By analyzing great college essays, learning tips from college admissions departments, and workshopping our own stories, students will develop strong essays they can use for their college applications.
This workshop will be offered in 6 two-hour sessions. Sessions will be live at Camp Cosmo in Santa Monica, CA (near Ocean Park and 18th), and also online via Zoom for students who cannot attend in person.
We will spend approximately half of each session on learning and discussion, and the other half writing. There will be no homework or additional writing at home required, however students are always encouraged to bring additional writing they complete between sessions.
Enrollment is limited, please sign up early to guarantee your spot.
